PC Disk Recovery
Advanced NTFS Recovery is designed for the cases when you need to recover important files.
Normally Windows puts all deleted files into the Recycle Bin. This way, you can always restore files that turned to be important or removed by mistake.
However, in some situations the Recycle Bin can't help. Let's consider the following examples:
- A hard disk was physically damaged, for example, due to an excessive shock.
- Some dangerous virus damaged a disk volume.
- A virus or a system malfunction wiped out important files.
- Windows cannot access a disk.
- A disk volume was mistakenly formatted, or you have just remembered that some valuable information wasn't saved.
- Files or folders are not readable.
- Partition table is corrupt or damaged.
- You emptied your Recycle Bin without thinking, or just didn't use the Recycle Bin at all.
Of course, you can think of or encounter other situations as well. From time to time it just happens, so you'd better be prepared. Just don't panic, the situation is pretty common.
I remember loosing some files in Windows Vista due to the unexpected change of focus (something unexpected in earlier versions of Windows). Instead of deleting a single file I removed the whole folder. As normally I don't use the Recycle Bin and don't read confirmations (it's just years of habit), some important data was simply lost.
Don't hurry up in such cases! Just sit down and relax.
When you delete a file, it isn't overwritten. In fact, nothing at all happens to the file itself. The system simply removes its entry in the special area, thus declaring the location of the file as free. But the file itself remains there untouched. It will be lost only if overwritten with another data, so you should be careful to avoid creating or copying new files into the volume. That's why it's generally a good idea to have some tool like Advanced NTFS Recovery already installed.
NTFS has numerous features for data recovery. Advanced NTFS Recovery utilizes those features, making the process of recovery very simple. Using it, you will be able to restore files from damaged or formatted NTFS volumes, or even to recover the whole volumes. The program will automatically search for the best possible solution. It doesn't do any changes to the disk while scanning it, so you can perform a scan any time without a risk. A user-friendly wizard will guide you through the process of recovery.
